What is Employer Liability?

This cover is taken by an employer to cover their legal liability under Common Law for damages and claimants cost and expenses of litigation in respect of bodily injury by accident or disease caused by employees arising out of and in the course of their employment directly related to breach of Common Law or Statutory Duty. It's a rider / extension and therefore must be taken together with the Group Personal Accident cover (GPA).
What's in it for you?

Cover under this policy are on a claims-made basis, in respect of claims first made against the insured(employer) and reported to the company in writing during the period of insurance provided that the insured event occurred on or after the retroactive date stated in the schedule.
