What is Travel Insurance (annual)?
Travel insurance (also known as multi-trip travel insurance) is an insurance policy that provides cover for those who travel more regularly, usually two or more holidays or business trips in 12 months.

Baggage, personal effects and money - the cover is provided for loss of or damage to personal baggage including clothing and personal effects, taken with the insured person, or purchased during the trip, or sent in advance.
Personal liability - this section covers the insured's legal liability for injury to third parties or damage to third party property while on holiday, including the legal costs of both the insured and the claimant
The cover includes:

- Strikes – act by a locked-out worker in resistance of the lockout
- Malicious Damage – malicious act during a politically motivated disturbance of public peace
- Insurrection, Revolution/ Rebellion – deliberate, organized & open resistance by force/ arms to the laws of a sovereign government by citizens
- Mutiny – resistance by legally armed / or peacekeeping forces to a superior officer
- Coup d’etat –– sudden, violent and illegal overthrow of a sovereign government or any attempt at such overthrow.
- Electrical or mechanical breakdown or faulty manipulation
- Wear, tear, gradual deterioration, vermin, inherent vices, rust, or atmospheric conditions.
- Property damaged by its undergoing any process involving the application of heat, or the actual process of dyeing, cleaning repair, or renovation.
- Loss of cash, currency, banknotes, or securities of any kind.
- Theft from motor vehicles unless the property is contained at the time of loss in a locked boot or locked locker forming an integral part of the vehicle.
- Breakage of articles of a brittle nature unless such damage is caused by fire or thieves.
- Damage to or scratching of lenses unless the apparatus is damaged at the same time.
